Damage to concrete can be caused both by physical and chemical processes running over time (‘natural wear and tear’ of the structure as a result of corrosion of the concrete caused, among other things, by water, frost, chlorides – mainly from de-icing salts, sulphur compounds and carbonation phenomena) and by sudden causes such as impacts, explosions, earthquakes or other overloads. Regardless of the cause of damage and its nature, the materials in AP Chemie’s range of products make it possible to restore concrete and reinforced concrete structures to the required technical condition and significantly extend their service life. Properly selected, they form a complete concrete repair system.
